Education is at the heart of RelTech's raison d'être. We have all attained doctorates and other advanced degrees ourselves, so we are familiar with the education process from the standpoint of the student. Our educational backgrounds are broad, including majors, minors, and concentrations in such areas as physics, computer science, English language and literature, education, religious studies, theology, cultural history, and textual criticism. Our varied interests and areas of expertise help us to communicate effectively with educators from a wide variety of fields of study.

We also have extensive classroom experience from the other side of the lectern, having spent years as instructors at the secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels. We know that effective teaching requires instructors to connect with their students, and today's students have been raised with technology. We've used online class discussion lists, Web resources, and other methods to enhance our own instruction, and we're ready to help you design effective tools to reach your students.

Although we spend a lot of our time dealing with issues related to higher education, we believe that knowledge is not just for those enrolled in formal courses of study. The general public is interested in learning, and we create and maintain Web pages that contain information that we think people outside the academy will find informative and interesting. We are glad to work with others who share our commitment to providing free access to high quality Web pages and other online resources.

Finally, we know that while some people are content to design projects that someone else implements, others want to gain the expertise necessary to do digitization projects themselves. We have extensive experience teaching in both formal and informal situations, and we offer training in various areas of technology (including XML, digital imaging, and technology in the classroom).
