Our Portfolio - Current Projects

The Bible Translator This project involved the digitization of entire run of The Bible Translator (52 volumes) for the United Bible Societies. It focused on creating both a digital archive as well as a "library" of TBT. In order to create this "library",  RelTech developed a JavaScript version of Ebind. This allowed us to free Ebind from Unix servers and run every file off of a CD-ROM. As result, RelTech created 3 master CD-ROMs of The Bible Translator.  JavaScript Ebind lets any issue of The Bible Translator be read on any computer. For more information please contact us.

Duke Database of Documentary Papyri and Oxford University's Oxyrhynchus Collection  This project focuses on
  • developing an XML DTD using TEI conventions,
  • transforming the existing transcriptions into XML documents that conform to this DTD,
  • developing an XML database server that can serve these XML documents,
  • loading these XML documents into the server,
  • developing a basic search interface for searching on metadata (date) and content (e.g., a particular Greek word),
  • confirming operation of the database server and search interface, and
  • developing an advanced search interface that has the ability to search on Greek roots, etc.
